ABOUT THE ARTIST & GALLERY

Teresa Grasby is a Calgary-based fine artist whose work captures the beauty of the Alberta landscape through vibrant colour and bold composition. From sweeping Rocky Mountain vistas to intimate aspen groves, her oil paintings communicate an energetic spirit and deep connection to the Canadian West.

Teresa opened Grasby Art Studio in 2011, mentoring over 5,000 students while building her own body of work. A third-generation Calgarian with a background in earth and environmental sciences, she brings a unique perspective to her large-scale canvases — where complex compositions meet unexpected metallic hues and rich colour harmony.

The Grasby Art Cellar is the gallery at Grasby Art Studio, located at 6520 Bowness Road NW, Calgary. The gallery showcases original paintings by local artists exploring Alberta themes — from mountain landscapes to prairie florals. Every piece is available for purchase online with insured shipping across Canada and worldwide.

Teresa's work has been featured in Avenue Magazine, the Calgary Journal, and the Spectator Tribune, and sold through galleries including Calyx Distinctive Arts, the Leighton Art Centre, and the Saffron Gallery in Cochrane.
